OBJECTIVES Meredith Belbin studied why some teams were successful and others failed over a peiod of 12 years. From his research he has developed 9 team roles that need to be there if a team is to be successful. We all have an individual profile that maps where we are in terms of the 9 team roles. Understanding this about our colleagues and ourselves assists us to set up teams for success rather than failure.
The workshop will explain the methodology behind Belbin model. It will provide people with a personal report on their self perception of themselves. Each of the Belbin 9 team roles will be explained and how to set up teams for success will be the key outcome of the workshop. Topics covered will be:

PARTICIPANTS The workshop is for anyone interested in understanding more about themselves in terms of their strengths and allowable weaknesses. It is for people who are interested in how to optimise their people into effective teams and undersand more about why some teams work better than others.
SPEAKER The speaker is Debbie Knights, Esteem who has a wealth of experience in facilitating workshops, as well as advising many other companies in making their businesses more successful. This experience allows Debbie to quickly and accurately 'tune in' to the needs of all delegates.
