OBJECTIVES This seminar will look at the history of the regulation of the sale of goods and in particular will examine the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended), the Sale and Supply of Goods to Consumer Regulations 2002 and the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 as they apply in Scotland.
PARTICIPANTS This seminar is aimed at anyone giving advice to buyers and sellers in relation to the sale and supply of goods and services in Scotland. It will be of interest to participants from the statutory, voluntary or private advice sectors.
SPEAKER The speaker is Alan Adams, Alpha Targeted Training. Mr. Adams was involved in trading standards work in a senior capacity for over 25 years. His expertise is in civil consumer law and small claims.
