OBJECTIVES A full day session dealing with a comprehensive run through of statutory duties including:
- how to discharge duty
- post application duties once a case has been determined
- reviews under Section 35A
- immigration issues
The latter issue would include A8/European Union issues as well.
There will also be space for a Case Study Workshop to be carried out and a plenary session at the end.
PARTICIPANTS This seminar will be of interest to Local Authority practitioners in homelessness across Scotland, plus those firms who wish a comprehensive starter course in this complex area of the law.
SPEAKERS The speakers are John Morrison, Solicitor and Kenneth McDonald, Solicitor, Glasgow City Council, who have already done training of this nature to the Homelessness Partership in Glasgow.
