Client Referrals
If you wish advice or you wish to refer an individual for advice, please make a referral to the Department. Individuals will not be taken on as clients until a referral is made.
A referral can be made in the following ways:-
- Complete the below referral form and return by e-mail, fax or post (contact details are noted on the form)
- Call our general office number, 0141 353 3354, and ask to speak to Iona Stewart who will complete the below referral form on the telephone

The Department receives more requests for legal advice than it can accommodate. The Department will not provide advice to individuals it feels it does not come within the remits of its Projects.
It is therefore imperative that you provide as much information as you can at the time of referral and demonstrate why you (or the individual you are referring) fit within the remit of the Department’s Projects.
Referrals are discussed at a Departmental meeting every Wednesday morning and you will be advised immediately after this meeting whether the Department is able to offer an appointment to provide advice or not.
